Find practical sourcing guidance for fiber optic products, custom configurations, factory testing, documentation and project delivery.

Product selection

Questions buyers commonly ask when preparing a fiber optic or telecom sourcing request.

Which fiber optic products can FiberXi supply?

Our range includes fiber optic patch cords, drop cables, MPO/MTP trunk assemblies, PLC splitters, distribution boxes, splice closures, patch panels and related telecom connectivity products. Share your application or existing part number and we can help narrow the configuration.

Can you manufacture customized fiber optic assemblies?

Yes. Common configuration points include connector type and polish, fiber category, cable construction, length, jacket color, polarity, sequential labels, packaging and accessory bundles. Final feasibility is confirmed against the agreed product specification.

How do I choose between SC/APC and SC/UPC?

Match the connector polish to the equipment port and network design. SC/APC is commonly used in many PON and FTTx applications; SC/UPC is used in other optical interfaces. Do not mix APC and UPC interfaces. Provide the port or existing assembly details when requesting a quote.

Can I request a sample before a bulk order?

For a new configuration, a sample or pre-production confirmation can be discussed. Please provide the intended application, requested specification, quantity forecast and delivery destination so the right review path can be arranged.

Testing and compliance

Questions buyers commonly ask when preparing a fiber optic or telecom sourcing request.

What quality checks can be discussed for fiber assemblies?

The relevant check depends on the product and agreed requirement. This can include configuration review, connector-end condition, visual inspection, length and label confirmation, and appropriate optical test records before packing.

Can you provide test reports?

Tell us the product, required test scope, relevant standard or buyer requirement, and how records should be identified. We will confirm which test information or inspection records can be supplied for the requested configuration.

Can you provide certificates or export documentation?

Share the destination market and product requirement. We will verify which applicable product documents, inspection records, commercial documents or export paperwork can be provided. We do not claim or issue documents that are not verified for the order.

How is shipment inspection handled?

Before dispatch, the ordered configuration, product condition, labels, quantities and packing are checked against the applicable order information. For project orders, carton marks and packing lists can be organized around the agreed deployment plan.

Sourcing process

Questions buyers commonly ask when preparing a fiber optic or telecom sourcing request.

What information should I send for a quotation?

The most useful request includes product name or image, fiber type, connector, cable length or key dimensions, estimated quantity, packaging needs, destination country and required delivery timing. A drawing or part-number list is helpful for customized products.

What is the MOQ for customized products?

MOQ depends on the product construction, customization level, material preparation and packing requirement. Send the requested configuration and estimated quantity for a practical quotation review.

Can cartons be grouped by project location or customer SKU?

Yes, project packing can be discussed. Typical options include length-based grouping, customer SKU labels, sequential identification, retail or bulk packing and carton marks for a site, cabinet, rack or deployment phase.

How do you prepare a project order for shipment?

A clear order-release list helps align product configuration, labels, testing, packing and dispatch. For staged delivery, identify the required grouping before production and shipment preparation begin.

Working with FiberXi

Questions buyers commonly ask when preparing a fiber optic or telecom sourcing request.

Where is FiberXi located?

FiberXi operates from Shenzhen, China, with an approximately 8,000 m² manufacturing base supporting fiber optic and telecommunications product orders.

Can I visit the factory or arrange a remote review?

Please contact us with your planned product scope and preferred timing. We can discuss an appropriate factory visit or remote product and production review arrangement.

Do you support distributors and private-label projects?

We can discuss repeat-SKU configuration, buyer-specified packaging, label format, accessory bundles and order documentation for distributor programs. Requirements are confirmed before production.

I am unsure about the specification. Can you help?

Yes. Describe the application, existing equipment interface, installation environment and any product image or drawing. Our team can help identify the configuration details that should be confirmed before quotation.

Send the application.
We will help clarify the specification.

Include an image, drawing, current part number or a brief description of the installation. The more context you share, the more relevant the reply can be.
